Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 6 November 2026.

Purpose

This policy sets out what is and is not allowed on Kabara. It applies to every organization, administrator, and user who accesses the platform. It works alongside our Terms of Service.

Consent and lawful messaging

You may send messages only to recipients who have agreed to receive communications from your organization, or where you otherwise have a lawful basis to contact them. You must honor opt-out requests and keep suppression records up to date.

  • Do not buy, scrape, or share contact lists without proper consent.
  • Do not send messages to numbers you are not authorized to contact.
  • Include a clear opt-out instruction where appropriate, such as "Reply STOP to opt out".
  • Keep evidence of consent and opt-out requests for as long as required.

Prohibited content and activity

Kabara must not be used for spam, fraud, harassment, impersonation, or any unlawful purpose. We may investigate suspected abuse and suspend or close accounts where necessary.

  • No unsolicited bulk marketing, chain messages, or repeated unwanted messages.
  • No deceptive, misleading, defamatory, hateful, or threatening content.
  • No content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
  • No phishing, malware, scams, illegal gambling, or unlawful financial schemes.
  • No attempts to bypass sender ID approval, rate limits, billing, or security controls.
  • No interference with the platform, networks, or other customers.

Sender IDs and identity

Sender IDs must be accurate and approved. You must not impersonate a person, government body, bank, network operator, or another organization. We may request evidence of authorization before approving or keeping a sender ID active.

Data protection

You must handle personal information responsibly. Do not upload sensitive information that is not needed for your messaging purpose. Keep access to contact lists limited to authorized staff and report suspected data incidents promptly.

Enforcement

We may remove content, restrict sending, suspend an account, or report activity to the relevant authorities where we believe this policy has been breached. We will consider the seriousness of the issue and any immediate risk to recipients, networks, or the platform.

To report spam, impersonation, or other abuse, contact kabara@dynamicsms.com or call +211 (0) 917-474-272. Include the sender ID, date and time, message content, and any relevant reference numbers.
